The blockbuster was supposed to prepare a springboard for the further development of the DC cinematic universe, which the director and his team coped with. Critics also noted the fact that the new Batman performed by Ben Affleck is good, but the villain Jesse Eisenberg seemed to them too feigned and unnecessary character.  If Batman and Superman are already beginning to worry about their positions in the box office, the inhabitants of Zootopia still do not give up in the face of even such strong competitors. The animation film of the same name lost only 16.7% of its audience over the past week, and was awarded $ 20 million . The home box office of the film is currently $ 275.9 million , and its worldwide box office results are astounding - $ 787.6 million . If this continues, then the creation of Disney could become the tenth animation project that managed to earn more than $ 300 million in the United States.  The third place in the top 5 is the comedy " My Big Greek Wedding 2 ", which added another $ 11.1 million to its piggy bank. The sequel hit the screens almost 15 years after the original was released, but if the first part was not only successful in the box office, but also earned flattering reviews from critics, then the second was slightly disappointing. According to the reviewers, you can still laugh at a large Greek family living in Chicago, but the jokes from the creators of the picture turned out to be not particularly original. At the same time, the film Kirk Jones , according to the results of two weeks, boasts the amount of $ 36.5 million .  The newcomer of the rental made its way to the fourth position - the painting " God did not die 2 ", which managed to collect $ 8.1 million . Harold Kronk's film mixes judicial and religious dramas. According to the plot, a high school teacher in a lesson about Martin Luther King explains his beliefs from the point of view of Christianity, for which the school leadership dismisses her, and the main character decides to appeal this decision in court. The film Kronk touches upon the question of the existence of God, as well as the separation of religious and civil life. The reviewers note that, unlike most other projects of a similar theme, the "God did not die 2" tape is very persistently trying to reach unbeliever viewers.  And yet another religious drama, “ Miracles from Heaven ”, closes the top five. Patricia Riggen's film differs from its top-5 neighbor in that it is devoted not so much to faith in God as to finding miracles in everyday life. The third week at the box office brought the film $ 7.6 million , and in total, its piggy bank has already collected $ 46.8 million .
