M. Night Shyamalan Tells Tales from the Crypt
The TNT TV channel, which includes the fantasy adventure "Librarians" ( The Librarians ), the spy drama "Legends" ( Legends ) and the action thriller "The Last Ship" ( The Last Ship ), decided to add a two-hour block of horror to its broadcasting schedule. As reported by The Hollywood Reporter , the Hollywood master of mystical thrillers M. Night Shyamalan ("The Sixth Sense").The evening of horror films will be opened with the reboot " Tales from the Crypt ". The history of the franchise dates back to the 50s of the last century, when EC Comics published the first graphic novels about the Cryptkeeper . In 1989, based on the chilling comics, the anthology Tales from the Crypt ( Tales from the Crypt ) was created, which managed to gain cult status among viewers. For seven years on the air, Brad Pitt, Tom Hanks, Michael J. Fox, Arnold Schwarzenegger and many other Hollywood stars have been guest stars of the series.  Shyamalan hopes to take over as the director of the first episode and take on the role of producer for the reboot. The filmmaker already has a track record of successfully launching television projects: last year he presented the mystical thriller "Wayward Pines" ( Wayward Pines ), which earned a second season renewal.  According to insiders, TNT has four more horror films in development, which may become companions to " Tales from the Crypt " on the air. The details of these projects are still kept secret.
