Syfy will revive Van Helsing's daughter
Syfy has decided to add Van Helsing ( Van Helsing ) to its line of projects, led by writer and producer Neil LaBout ("Obsession"). This is reported by the portal The Hollywood Reporter .The first appearance of Abraham Van Helsing was in the Gothic novel "Dracula" , which was released in 1897. The hero is known as a hunter of monsters and vampires, as well as one of the sworn enemies of Count Dracula . Among the latest reincarnations of the famous hunter on the big screens, one immediately recalls the image created by Hugh Jackman in the film "Van Helsing". In the new interpretation, the central character will be Vanessa Helsing , daughter of Van Helsing , representing a new generation of warriors who fight on the side of people in a world ruled by vampires. When Vanessa is resurrected five years in the future, the girl realizes that the monsters have taken over the entire earth, and only she has some kind of power over them. It is Vanessa who is humanity's last hope for victory in this war.  LaBout will take over the executive producer functions. He will be accompanied in this capacity by Simon Barry, Dave Brown, Daniel March and Chad Oakes. “I am incredibly excited to partner with Syfy and Nomadic Pictures and am ready to create a one-of-a-kind show that will show viewers the fight against vampires from a new perspective.”, - noted in his statement LaBout .
