Tom Cruise will play Van Helsing
Tom Cruise will star and co-produce a new Universal Pictures movie dedicated to Van Helsing. This was announced in a press release from the studio. The document also claims that Universal Pictures has signed a two-year contract with two highly sought-after screenwriters, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, to reboot popular movies from the studio's library, including Van Helsing and The Mummies. Recall that Van Helsing last appeared on the screen in 2004 in the movie of the same name, in which Hugh Jackman played the main role.
