Fassbender will hunt the priestesses of love
Michael Fassbender is ready to replenish his impressive filmography with an intriguing new project. As reported by Variety , the two-time Oscar nominee received an offer to star in the thriller Entering Hades . The film will be produced by Broad Green Pictures and Storyscape Entertainment and Fassbender DMC Film .The plot of Entering Hades will be based on the novel of the same name by John Leak, the main character of which is the infamous journalist and serial killer Johann Unterweger, nicknamed Jack the Writer . The Austrian already had problems with the law as a teenager. By the age of 24, he had a dozen and a half arrests on suspicion of committing crimes of a sexual nature. In the mid-70s, the police managed to prove his involvement in the murder of 18-year-old German woman Margaret Schaefer , after which the court sentenced him to life imprisonment with the possibility of appealing 15 years later.  In prison, Johann began writing stories and plays, and his autobiography even became a national bestseller. By the time the minimum sentence expired, the books of Unterweger were included in the school literature curriculum, thanks to which many prominent public and political figures in Austria began to advocate for his appeal. In 1990, Johann was released, where he was already waiting for the post of host of a crime show on local television. For two years, Unterweger has worked in Europe and North America, considered perhaps the most successful example of the effectiveness of the Austrian prison rehabilitation system. However, the police soon established that Jack the Writer led a double life all this time. During the investigation it became known that in the first year after his release, Unterweger strangled at least seven girls of easy virtue. Soon the FBI agents joined the hunt for the journalist, suspecting him of the murder of three American prostitutes ...  In addition to Fassbender , the creators of Entering Hades decided to involve in the project the Oscar-winning Alexander Dinelaris (Birdman), who will finalize the script by William Wheeler (Cloak / The Cape ).
