Simon West ("Jailbreak", "The Expendables 2") director and producers Jib Polemus and Harry Storton have acquired the script rights to Jonathan Fernandez ("Star Trek: Enterprise" / Star Trek: Enterprise) " Shinshinawa ", reported by The Hollywood Reporter .The plot of the film is based on real events. When Fernandez was collecting materials for the Gangsta LOVE several years ago, officers from the 44th New York Police Station kindly agreed to act as consultants. The life story of one of the detectives interested Jonathan so much that he decided to use it as the basis for his new script. After corpses are found in several water bodies of the city at once, the leadership of the slaughter department decides to appoint one of their best employees to work. The situation is aggravated by the fact that he had just recently experienced a severe nervous breakdown. During the investigation, the detective suddenly begins to doubt the reality of what is happening. Could all the evidence, the victims and even his own partner be just the fruit of a sick imagination? ..  Insiders have yet to say whether West is claiming the director's seat for the film.
