Will Star Wars Get Five New Movies?
Last November, we reported that Disney may have a tradition of releasing at least one Star Wars film per year until viewers lose interest in her. According to the British tabloid The Sun , the Walt Disney empire has begun to translate these plans into reality. According to yet unconfirmed information, at the moment the studios Disney and Lucasfilm are working on ten films of the famous space saga at once.Five of them have already been announced earlier. At the end of this year, viewers will see the premiere of the first spin-off of the film series, Star Wars: Rogue. In 2018, the solo album will receive Han Solo, and the main character of the so far untitled 2020 film may be Boba Fett . In 2017, the eighth part of the saga will be released, and two years later, Episode 9 will complete the third trilogy. After Star Wars: The Force Awakens hit phenomenal box office success, Disney decided to give the green light to five more projects. JJ Abrams' blockbuster made more than $ 2 billion , climbing to the third place in the list of highest grossing films in the history of cinema.  Insiders have not yet announced whether the bosses of Disney are planning to continue the main film series, or whether it is exclusively about spin-offs. The Star Wars universe has such a powerful potential for further development that a year ago we even thought about which characters in the cult franchise deserve to get solo projects in the first place. According to rumors, new spin-offs could be dedicated to such popular heroes of the saga as Obi-Wan Kenobi and Mace Windu .  Officials from the Disney studio have so far refrained from commenting.
