AMC will arrange predatory terror for sailors
According to Entertainment Weekly , AMC has officially given the go-ahead to shoot the new anthology series. The drama will be based on the novel Dan Simmons , titled Terror , which was published in 2007.The series, written by Dave Kaiganich (Invasion), focuses on thenaval expedition that began in 1845. The crews of two ships that set off in search of the Northwest Passage between the Atlantic and Pacific oceans encounter a mysterious predator relentlessly pursuing their ships. The only thing left for the sailors in this situation is to try to survive ... Showrunner functions of the project Kaiganich will share with Soo Hugh ("Under the Dome" / Under the Dome , "Murder" / The Killing ). The series will also be executive produced by Ridley Scott, David W. Zucker, Alexandra Milchan, Scott Lambert and Guymon Kasady.  The 10-episode drama is scheduled to premiere in 2017.
