Channel AMC will create its own anthology "Terror". According to The Hollywood Reporter, the cable channel has commissioned the production of an anthology based on Dan Simmons' bestseller "The Terror." The plot unfolds in 1847, when an expedition led by the English Arctic explorer John Franklin sets out in search of a sea route. passing through the Arctic Ocean, connecting the Atlantic with the Pacific Ocean. During the journey, the members of the ships "Terror" and "Erebus" are attacked by a mystical predator. An exciting and desperate battle for survival begins. Dave Kaiganich ("True Story") will write the script and act as showrunner alongside Su Hugh ("Murder"). They will co-executive produce with Ridley Scott, David W. Zucker (Scott Free Productions), Alexandra Milchan, Scott Lambert (Emjag Productions) and Gaimon Kesedy (Entertainment 360). All three studios will co-produce with AMC Studios.
