Portland independent filmmakers, director Andy Mingo and producer Joshua Leek , have begun filming Chuck Palahniuk's novel Lullaby , Variety. At some point, the journalist meets another person who knows the secret of the lullaby - the realtor Helen Hoover Boyle . The latter is taken to help Streitor in his attempt to destroy all copies of the collection with the ill-fated text existing in the USA. In the process of searching for them, the main target becomes the primary source of the lullaby - the witchcraft book Grimoire . But temporary allies don't know  “ Chuck doesn't write for a wide audience. You could even say that his books challenge her. Lullaby is all about necrophilia, transsexuality and satire. We want to make a film that will do the same thing that the books of Chuck do - bring the viewer to the degree of dislike for the situation in which he will begin to think, and not take other people's judgments at face value", - says the message of Mingo and Lika , who are fans of the author.  Fans of Palahniuk reacted to the idea of filming another work of their idol very enthusiastically - more than $ 80 thousand has already been raised for the production of Lullaby .
