WGN America will go to Indian reservations
After the mystical horror movie "Salem" ( Salem ) won an impressive viewership and received a nomination for the prestigious " Saturn " award, the leadership of the channel WGN America thought about expanding the line of serials of our own production. Last September, the screen version of the novel by Arkady and Boris Strugatsky "Roadside Picnic" went into production, and today the publication The Hollywood Reporter announced that the cable television network is starting to create a television adaptation of the comic strip Scalped ...Tired of poverty and an oppressive sense of hopelessness, Dashill Bad Horse , an Indian, decides to leave the Prairie Rose reservation for good. After a decade and a half, fate forces him to return to his native land. The main character learns that a casino is being built on the reservation, which is why various criminal elements have become active in the district ... As in the case of " Roadside Picnic ", the channel has placed an order for the production of a pilot series. The script will be written by Doug Jung (The Scam) and Scalped will be produced by DC Creative Director Jeff Jones.
