JJ Abrams will return to space
It seems that working on the Star Trek and Star Wars franchises helped JJ Abrams become the Dream Factory's chief expert on space sagas. As it became known to The Hollywood Reporter, the successful director and producer is preparing a new intriguing project about the distant corners of the Universe.In between his work on Hollywood blockbusters, Abrams managed to write a script application for the series, tentatively titled Demimonde. In the center of the plot of the space drama will be the daughter of a talented woman scientist. The girl is deeply distressed by the news that her mother fell into a coma after a serious car accident. The main character of the story begins to study the research of her mother and, to her surprise, is transported to an unfamiliar world, whose inhabitants are fighting against a terrible and cruel enemy ... The production of "Polusvet" will be handled by the television department of the Warner Bros. studio, which has already received several tempting offers of cooperation from leading American cable channels and online services.  JJ Abrams has a very rich experience in television. The talented filmmaker had a hand in the creation of "Lost" and "Beyond the Boundary", and also acted as an executive producer of such series as "11.22.63", "Alcatraz", "Believe", "Almost Human", "Revolution" and "Suspect".
