The sinister Natural Resources Development Corporation (RDA) is ready to take revenge on the representatives of the Na'vi race for the expulsion of its employees from the planet Pandora. Today, the official Twitter of the Avatar franchise announced that four Emmy Award-winning Idi Falco has joined the cast of the sequels of the highest-grossing blockbuster of all time.The actress is best known for her television roles. Her performance on The Sopranos and Sister Jackie earned her a record 22 Actors Guild of America nominations. In the Avatar sequels, the actress will try on the image of General Ardmore defending the interests of the RDA on Pandora. Information about the role of this heroine in the plot is still kept secret, but it can be assumed that the representative of the most influential resource-producing corporation in the Universe will take the place of Colonel Quaritch as the main antagonist of the film series.  James Cameron's team has yet to reveal how many of the four new films in the franchise will feature Falco's character. Last November, news came from Hollywood that the filming of the epic had finally come to an end. Either all the scenes with Idi's participation have already been filmed and Fox simply delayed the official presentation of the actress, or insiders misinterpreted the words of Cameron and actress Sigourney Weaver about the end of the main filming period of blockbusters. It is possible that James decided to stick to the original plan and shoot two films at a time. In this case, it was about the completion of filming only the second and third parts of the franchise, and ahead of the director and actors will work on the fourth and fifth tapes.
