British writer James Hadley Chase is known all over the world as a master of dashingly twisted plots, original detective intrigues and deep immersion in the psychology of characters. French director Benoit Jacot decided to try to transfer the unique atmosphere of one of Chase's novels to the big screen, and today we can appreciate the mesmerizing trailer for his erotic thriller called "Eve".The film adaptation starred such stars of European cinema as Isabelle Huppert (Golden Globe for the lead role in the drama "She" by Paul Verhoeven) and Gaspard Ulliel ("The Long Engagement"). In the center of the plot there are two - the promising writer Bertrand Walad (Gaspard Ulliel) and the mysterious seducer Eve (Isabelle Huppert). They meet by chance, but for Bertrand meeting Eve becomes an opportunity to finally write a book that will shock everyone. For Eve, he is just another "man who pays." Gradually, their acquaintance develops into a whirlwind romance, and at a certain moment passions heat up to such an extent that the usual rules of the game cease to work. Bertrand is ready to do anything to compose an exciting ending to his book, but he still does not even guess what secret his fatal muse hides ...
