Roman Vasyanov is filming ”Dorm-on-Blood”
Roman Vasyanov, known for his cinematography in the domestic "Dandies" and the Hollywood action films "Rage" and "Suicide Squad", decided to change the camera to a director's chair, taking on the film adaptation of Alexei Ivanov's novel "Dorm-on-Blood". This will be Vasyanov's first work as a director. The film is called Tenerife and will be produced by the Metrafilms film company.Aleksey Ivanov wrote his novel back in 1992, but the book was published only in 2006, immediately hitting the short list of the National Bestseller award. It tells about the life of students in a hostel, about their problems and, of course, about love and death. The book received many positive reviews from the literary community and won the hearts of readers. The events described in the novel take place in the early 90s, this era will be reflected in the picture. From the pen of Alexei Ivanov also published such books as "The Heart of Parma" and "The Geographer Drank the Globe", the latter was filmed in 2013, and in March it became known that Anton Megerdichev would start staging "The Heart of Parma".  The cast of the film is already known: Irina Starshenbaum ("Attraction"), Nikita Efremov ("Summer"), Ilya Malanin ("On the District"), Marina Vasilieva ("Dislike") and Yulia Aug ("Pupil").
