Towards the Heart of Parma
During the presentation of the project of the new historical film "The Heart of Parma" based on the novel by Alexei Ivanov, producer Igor Tolstunov announced the composition of the film crew.The director is Anton Megerdichev, known for the sports drama "Moving Up". The main role will be played by Alexander Kuznetsov ("Acid"), who will play Prince Mikhail, the role of his wife was given to debutante in the big cinema Elena Erbakova. The film also stars Yevgeny Mironov (Bishop Iona) and Fyodor Bondarchuk as Grand Duke Ivan III. The camera work was entrusted to Sergey Astakhov ("Brother", "Brother 2"). The novel "The Heart of Parma", published in 2003, tells about real events that took place in the 15th century on the territory of the present Urals. The book tells about the struggle of the Permian prince Mikhail with the Moscow domination. Sergey Bodrov and Ilya Tilkin worked on the script. Currently, the construction of the scenery for the film is underway, which will begin shooting this summer in the vicinity of Moscow and Perm. The film's budget will be 610 million rubles.
