A couple of years ago, Alcon expressed a desire to shoot a new project about Garfield, but there was no more information about him.According to the Deadline portal, Alcon management has finally found a person to whom they are ready to entrust the new cartoon about Garfield. The filming of the tape will be led by Mark Dindel, a director with a decent experience in the animation genre. Dindal has mostly dealt with visual effects, but he also has several directing credits such as Cats Don't Dance, The Emperor's Adventures and Chicken Chicken. “The cat, created by Jim Davis, has been and remains an international sensation among people of all ages. We are glad to cooperate with Mark, who gave the screen life to many characters, and we want to see what he will do with Garfield ", - said in a joint statement Alcon co-founders Broderick Johnson and Andrew A.
