Blade Runner will hit the small screens. According to The Hollywood Reporter, 13 episodes of the anime series Blade Runner - Black Lotus are set to air on Adult Swim. Production will be handled by Alcon Entertainment, the studio behind Denis Villeneuve's sequel, and streaming service Crunchyroll, which will handle global distribution.The animated series, inspired by Blade Runner 2049, will unfold between the events of the two films in 2032.
