The USAn box office is still in Thanos' hands
The weekend between two public holidays, although it improved the financial situation of the film distribution, showing the second largest result this year, about 1.44 billion rubles, but, alas, it did not last long. The past weekend was again marked by a strong drop in fees. Revenue of cinemas decreased by 58% compared to the results of a week ago and amounted to about 609 million rubles.The palm, just like last week, belongs to the Hollywood blockbuster Avengers: Infinity War. The collection of the tape sank by 67%, and over the past weekend, fans of the MCU brought 380 million rubles to the piggy bank of the third film about the Avengers team. All in all, by the end of the second week of rental "War of Infinity" came up with a result of 1.81 billion rubles. Thus, the film is already much ahead of its predecessor, the film "Era of Eltron", which in 2015 for all the time was able to earn 1.72 billion rubles. In addition, at the moment "War of Infinity" occupies the first line in the list of the highest grossing releases of this year, displacing, as expected, the USA "Ice" from its 1.5 billion rubles. All in all, the band's assets are now about 254 million rubles.  The novelty of the weekend - the French comedy thriller Taxi 5 - lost quite a bit to Sobibor. The characters Sami Naseri and Frederic Diphenthal, so beloved by the audience for the past four films, have retired, and the main characters of the new film are a policeman transferred from the capital to Marseille and the unlucky nephew of the owner of the famous taxi who are trying to catch a gang of Italian robbers in a Ferrari. The fifth part started noticeably weaker than expected. Analysts predicted grossing in the region of 90 million rubles, while the film managed to collect only about 63 million rubles. Danila Kozlovsky's sports drama about a former footballer who became the coach of a small provincial team has been in the top five for the fourth week in a row. Having added 21 million rubles to the piggy bank over the past weekend, "Trainer" brought its fees for the entire rental period to 844 million rubles.  The fifth place on the basis of the results of the past weekend is occupied by the German-American sci-fi thriller Anon, starring Clive Owen and Amanda Seyfred. The plot of the picture develops in the near future, in a society where total supervision reigns, there are no private territories, civil rights and personal life. It would seem that it is impossible to hide in a completely controlled state, but one day the main character of the film, detective Sol Freeland, meets a girl who somehow managed to bypass the system. The dystopia of screenwriter and director Andrew Nikkola was able to earn a modest 16 million rubles at the start. Viewers in their reviews complain about uninteresting characters, the stereotypical nature of everything that happens, an illogical ending, and most importantly, a boring and sluggish narrative, which makes you fall asleep.
