Once again, the festive weekend provided a good box office for USA cinemas. The revenues of distributors did not reach the billion mark, but most of the new products in distribution have realized their potential, and a representative of the domestic film industry sits at the top of the financial rating by the results of the weekend.
The top 5 box offices in USA at the end of the weekend (March 5-8) are as follows: 1. "Hotel " Belgrade"  Week at the box office: 1 Added: 233 million rubles. Total fees: 234 million rubles. Sank / Rise: - (-) The comedy co-produced by USA and Serbia became another hit in Milos Bikovich's acting career after Ice and The Kholop. The film started better than the tape "8 new dates" (163.8 million rubles), but lost to the recent "(NOT) ideal man" (301.1 million rubles). In general, such a start can be considered excellent for a project with a $ 150 million budget. 2. "Forward"  Week at the box office: 1 Added: 197.4 million rubles. Total fees: 197.4 million rubles. Sank / Rise: - (-) Unfortunately, the new cartoon from the Pixar studio did not surprise. The animation tape started below expectations, but the same situation has developed in other countries. If we compare "Vperyod" with other representatives of the genre, then the first results of the project are comparable to those shown in the USA box office "Secret Coco" (186.2 million rubles) and "City of Heroes" (177.4 million rubles). 3. Sank / Rise: -3 (-52%) The drama of Zhora Kryzhovnikov steadily loses half of its viewers every week, but at the same time it is confidently approaching the landmark mark of 1.5 billion rubles. - that's how much the first part collected in the end.
