Duncan Jones to direct a comic strip
Warcraft director Duncan Jones announced that he has begun work on a comic book film. Unfortunately, for now, that's all he has to say about his next project. However, the filmmaker added that something special awaits us and that in a few days he will open the veil of secrecy. The question arises: what kind of comic is going to film Zoey Bowie?Will the movie make it to the big screen at all? For example, we know that Jones directed Dumb for Netflix. Maybe something is being prepared again for a streaming media service? Duncan tweeted this: “I'm a little nervous about this, but damn it will be fun! I'll start working on the comic! On a special comic! ..". At the same time, the director of "Baby on the Drive" Edgar Wright said that he knew what was at stake and that he was excited. If a guy like Wright is looking forward to it, then we have a lot to get excited about. Moreover, Duncan Jones is a rather interesting director, despite some mistakes. While Warcraft and The Dumb were mid-range films, they were incredibly ambitious, and they definitely had potential. And let's say Luna 2112 and Source Code are good examples of how Duncan can make great films. Such a director can surprise the audience.  What is this mysterious project? Many speculate that Jones will take on comics from the Marvel or DC universes. It is unlikely that this will be a movie for Marvel Studios, which has all its plans in check. DC still has some work to do, and Warner Bros. has a number of interesting projects in the future.  There are other options for the development of events: Sony is developing several spin-offs of "Spider-Man", as well as adaptations of Valiant Comics, which will start with "Bloody Shot" with Vin Diesel ("Riddick"). Or maybe it will be a surprise at all - the adaptation of the comic that no one has heard of until now.
