British director Duncan Jones has unveiled the mystery over his next project. As he himself announced on his official Twitter page, he intends to movie the popular 2000 AD series "Rogue Trooper" comics. The comic, which debuted in 1981, takes place in a post-apocalyptic world, with a genetically modified a soldier who pursues the traitor who killed his comrades. The personalities of the latter, recorded on special microchips, are "embedded" in his uniform and weapons. The main character is not susceptible to poisons and toxins, and his blue skin can ensure his survival even in an absolute vacuum. The series experienced a rebirth in the late 80s of the last century, when new characters appeared in it. Rogue Trooper Universe became the basis for many books, video games, board games. Note that it has already been repeatedly mentioned about the possibility of movieing a full-length movie based on the comics, but these plans were never implemented.
