Shyamalan's Harry Potter Star
Rupert Grint will join the cast of M. Night Shyamalan's new project, a television thriller for Apple, according to TheWrap. Previously, Lauren Ambrose (The X-Files) andsigned up for the filming. The details of the as-yet-untitled series are being kept under wraps, but Apple has revealed that Rupert Grint ("Big Score") will play Ambrose's younger brother, Dorothy, and Free will appear as her children's nanny. In addition to Shyamalan himself, Jason Blumenthal (Lefty), Todd Black (The Pursuit of Happyness), Steve Tish (The Great Equalizer), Ashwin Rajan (Wayward Pines) and screenwriter Tony Busgallop ( Outcast "). Shyamalan will also direct the first episode of the psychological thriller. Grint's recent projects include a television adaptation of the BBC One and Amazon's The Alphabetical Murders novel by Agatha Christie. This miniseries is currently in post-production.
