The star of the blockbuster "Avatar" and the horror movie "Don't Breathe" decided to try his hand at the genre of action-horror and signed up for the lead role in a project called VFW, which is being developed by the company Fangoria. The film will be directed by Joe Begos, and scripted by aspiring writers Max Brelier and Matthew McArdle.The film is described as an explosive mixture of The Wild Gang and Night of the Living Dead. Stephen Lang will play a man named Fred, who, along with his friends in military service, will defend the local branch of the organization "Veterans of Foreign Wars of the USA" (which is how VFW stands for The Veterans of Foreign Wars) and an innocent teenager who is there from an insane drug dealer and his armies of hideous mutants. These powerful old men were in the hell of the Vietnam War and returned from there alive, but the coming night will be the most terrible and longest in their lives ... Stephen Lang is well known not only by moviegoers, but also by fans of American TV: he starred in such popular TV series as Terra Nova, Salem and In the Desert of Death.
