We recently reported that online service Netflix will seriously increase production of science fiction and fantasy films and series in the coming years. According to Deadline, the bosses of the streaming giant did not postpone the case and stepped up work on the sequel to the blockbuster "Bright".The main character of last year's action movie was veteran of the Los Angeles police Daryl Ward, who got the first orc in the history of the American law enforcement system as a partner. David Eyre's tape was crushed in the press, but it brought excellent ratings to Netflix. In the first three days since the premiere of "Brightness" 11 million people watched it. The official announcement of the sequel to the fantasy buddy movie took place at the end of last year. It was originally supposed that the script of the film would be written by David Eyre himself. Now, however, news has come from the Netflix camp that the text of the new chapter of the film series has been handed over to Evan Spiliotopoulos. This fairy tale expert has a track record of the action adventure Hercules, the second installment of Snow White and the Huntsman, and Disney's Beauty and the Beast.  Insiders argue that the arrival of a new screenwriter will not affect Eyre's plans to return to the director's chair for the sequel.
