Horror in the Mountains
Most of the latest films with Amanda Seyfred's participation - "Dangerous Business", "Anon", "Clacker", "The Last Word" - did not receive the attention of the general public. A lot of noise in arthouse circles was caused only by the tape "The First Reformed Church", which deserved only rave reviews from critics. Perhaps Amanda's next project will have a better fate.According to the Collider portal, the actress signed up to take part in the filming of the horror movie You Should Have Left, where Kevin Bacon will become her screen partner. The film is produced by Blumhouse and directed by David Kepp (Secret Window). The tape will be based on the book of the same name by Daniel Kelmann, which Bacon himself was initially interested in. The actor, by the way, already has a joint project with David Kepp in stock - the thriller "Echoes". The new film will focus on the screenwriter (Bacon), retiring in a house in the mountains with his family - his wife-actress (Cyfred), hiding a dark secret, and daughter. Here he plans to work fruitfully on the sequel to the hit movie that made him famous. The marriage of the main characters is full of mistrust and suspicion, and here they also found themselves alone in a place where the laws of physics may not work ... The plot of the picture vaguely resembles Stephen King's The Shining, but Kepp, who already dealt with the writer's work during the filming of Secret Window, will certainly be able to distance himself from the cult novel of The King of Horrors.  Amanda Seyfred has recently been busy filming the comedy drama The Art of Racing in the Rain, and in August USA viewers will see the actress in the sequel to the musical Mamma MIA!
