Kevin Bacon returns to Tremors. According to Entertainment Weekly, Jason Bloom's Blumhouse Productions and Universal Cable Productions are developing a new series based on the popular science fiction thriller from 1990. Bacon will return to his role as Val McKee and take over some of the executive producing duties. The script for the drama will be written by Andrew Miller (The Secret Circle).

A network for the potential project has yet to be found, but Universal Cable Productions has reported that several channels have expressed interest in the TV project.
