Johnny Lee Miller, known for Trainspotting and Elementary, and rapper Common (The Hate You Generate) starred in the film adaptation of Ursula K. Le Guin's science fiction story Nine Lives, reports Deadline. The script was written by BAFTA nominees Siri Rodnes and Tom Basden, the latter is also going to lead the filming of the project.According to the source, the film will be filled with dark humor, and the plot will revolve around a couple of scientists exhausted by routine work from a research base located on another planet.
