The Walking Dead Makeup Artist will create a new Spawn
The original Spawn hit the big screens in 1997 and was smashed by critics. But recently Todd McFarlane decided to give his demonic knight one more chance: he will independently write the script and act as a director. And to better protect the picture from failure, McFarlane will enlist the support of professionals: as reported by ScreenRant, Greg Nicotero will take over as head of the makeup department in the new film.McFarlane assures that the upcoming tape will be very different from the film of the 90s. First of all, the focus will shift from Spawn to an inconspicuous cop named Twitch, played by Jeremy Renner. In addition, the makeup specialist for The Walking Dead, together with KNB EFX, will seriously work on the visual side of the film. McFarlane commented on the make-up master's involvement with the franchise universe: “I'm a dedicated fan of Greg and his company’s projects. It will be very interesting to work with him and remake Spawn's image to match the supernatural theme. ”  Reimagining the character's appearance is an interesting decision, because in the comics Spawn has not changed over the years. Perhaps this will help revive the antihero. Hopefully, the involvement of Nicotero and his team will benefit Jamie Foxx's new character.
