13 reasons to be damned
In March of this year, we reported that the online service Netflix is preparing a film adaptation of the book Cursed, and now TV lovers have at least one good reason to take a closer look at the project. As The Wrap found out, Katherine Langford, who previously worked with Netflix on the set of the teen drama 13 Reasons Why, got the lead role in the show.The adaptation came from Tom Wheeler and Frank Miller. They are the authors of the original book themselves: Wheeler wrote it and Miller illustrated it. Will help them with the adaptation of Zetna Fuentes (Jessica Jones, This Is Us), which Netflix has chosen to direct the first two episodes. "Damned" is a new look at the legend about King Arthur, which is well known to readers and viewers. The book is narrated from the perspective of Nimue, a teenage girl with a mysterious gift. It was she who was destined to become the powerful Lady of the Lake. A press release from Netflix describes the adaptation as a growing up story that resonates with today's audiences as it explores the themes of nature destruction, religious horror, the futility of war, and the courage to face the impossible.  For her role as Hannah Baker in 13 Reasons Why, Katherine Langford was nominated for a Golden Globe, but viewers will not see her in the third season. Over the past year, the actress managed to star in a fantasy called "Spontaneity" and appeared in the drama "With Love, Simon." The Topic of Article: 13 reasons to be damned. |
