Tom Cruise is looking for a co-pilot
The creators of the sequel to the action movie "Best Shooter" have prepared another surprise for fans of the original. First, a rumor spread throughout Hollywood that after Tom Cruise, Val Kilmer signed up for the film, playing the role of the pilot Tom Kazansky, nicknamed Iceman, in the 1986 film. Now The Hollywood Reporter has managed to find out that the offspring of another key character in the famous aviation action Tony Scott will play an important role in the plot of the sequel.Paramount Pictures and Skydance Media are currently looking for a performer for the role of Lieutenant Nick's son "The Goose" Bradshaw. Anthony Edwards portrayed the co-pilot and best friend of Cruise's hero in the 1986 film. Casting for the role of Bradshaw Jr. secretly started a few weeks ago. During this time, the producers have watched many of the rising stars of the Dream Factory and opted for the three most promising candidates. According to Hollywood insiders, Nicholas Hoult (Mad Max: Fury Road), Glen Powell (Hidden Figures) and Miles Teller (Obsession) are invited to the last round of screen tests with Tom Cruise.  Since in the first film the character of Anthony Edwards died in tragic circumstances, it can be assumed that in the sequel, the hero of Cruise will take patronage over his son.
