Hip-hop maniacs at the forefront
Universal Pictures is preparing a surprise for fans of good old hip-hop. As it became known to The Hollywood Reporter, the oldest studio of the Dream Factory is launching the musical comedy "Real Bazaar" * (Real Talk).The plot of the film was invented by the American actress and screenwriter Rada Blank (Out of Time). At the center of the story will be an old-school rapper who decides to gather his former band to try to regain his former glory and prove to the whole world that he is considered a true legend of the hip-hop world for a reason. The film's directorial chair will be taken by the popular Hollywood comedian Malcolm D. Lee. The director already has experience working with Universal on the Schafer franchise and Airplane Girls, which became one of the highest-grossing comedies last year.
