Money doesn't smell

Image A few days ago, the decisive game of the next season of the National Football League took place in Atlanta. To brighten the viewers' impression of the outright disastrous Super Bowl LIII, Curated By Media announced a rather curious film project about one of the most scandalous players in NFL history.

The main character of the sports drama tentatively titled "Hawk" will be Andrew Hawkins. Agility and quickness made the Pennsylvania native the star of the school college football team. As is often the case, Hawkins' athletic performance began to decline with age. Andrew's decline in his game meant that no NFL team wanted to draft him after graduation.

The athlete spent two good seasons in the Canadian Football League, thanks to which he managed to get to the training camp of the Cincinnati Bengals. Hawkins did not want to settle for a rookie contract and began to look for a way to improve his reputation in the NFL. Despite a good performance for the Bengals, the footballer, measuring 70 meters tall and weighing 80 kg, was considered too slender for a player in his position. Andrew did not think of anything better than to start wearing special high-soled shoes and get on the scales with only extra weight in his pockets. He also created a fictitious identity and began to impersonate his own agent. Surprisingly, the trick worked in the end and Hawkins was able to close a four-year $ 13.6 million deal with the Cleveland Browns.

Andrew played only 39 games with the new team and was released into the free agent market. The plot of the film about Hawkins' antics was invented by a young screenwriter Christine Ver Linden, who fell on the pencil to the bosses of Hollywood studios after one of her texts was included in the Black List of the best unrealized Hollywood scripts. The production of "Hawk" will be staged by Gasim Basir ("The Muslim").
