Radar Pictures will show the legendary home run

Image In the middle of last month, we reported that Hollywood has decided to make a film about the 51st match for the National Football League Championship. According to The Hollywood Reporter , the Dream Factory is preparing another surprise for fans of North American sports. Radar Pictures has acquired the rights to film the memoir of famous baseball player David Ross .

The filmmakers want to pay special attention to the last match in the career of the 40-year-old athlete. In late 2014, Ross signed a contract with the Chicago Cubs , which last won the World Series baseball back in 1908. A year ago, David announced that the 2016 season will be the last of his long sports career.

To the surprise of many experts, the Chicago team first performed brilliantly in the regular season, and then reached the decisive series of games between the American and National Leagues teams. The fate of the championship title was decided on November 2 last year in the seventh match of the World Series , in which David managed to knock the ball out of the field in a very effective way. The baseball player, nicknamed Grandpa Ross , made history as the oldest player to make a home run in the decisive match of the season, and his team reclaimed the title of Major League Baseball after 108 years ( MLB ).
