Netflix to release Boogeyman family movie
The good old Boogeyman returns to the screens, but only in a form that is not quite familiar to the audience. This time around, Netflix is releasing a family movie based on the A Babysitter's Guide To Monster Hunting series of books, written in the genre of comedy horror. The film will be directed by Rachel Talalay and printed by Joe Ballarini to write the script.In the first book, Kelly Ferguson is forced to work as a nanny on Halloween instead of having fun with friends. Having said goodbye to social life, Kelly hopes for a cozy evening in the company of snacks and TV shows, but that was not the case: little Jacob is kidnapped by Boogeyman's henchmen. Now, with the help of an ancient magic book and a secret society of tough nannies, Kelly must free Jacob before the Boogeyman makes his nightmares come true. The first book was published in 2017, having been continued in two parts at once. The film adaptation will be based on the plot of all three works.  Talalay's most recent directing titles include American Gods, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Riverdale and Supergirl.
