David E. Kelly will sit at CBS Lincoln
David E. Kelly is known for his unconventional storytelling, and much of his series has a legal focus. This is probably due precisely to the fact that Kelly in the past worked as a prosecutor and knows how to file a crime story. This time, Kelly will write and executive produce the series "Lincoln for the Lawyer," based on the bestselling novel of the same name by Michael Connelly. The author of the book will also take the executive producer's chair. The project will be financed by the CBS channel.The book's plot centers on Mickey Holler, a cynical lawyer who practices in the backseat of his Lincoln. His clients are cheats and drug dealers, and the law is no obstacle for Holler to get rich. The adaptation of the novel already hit the big screen in 2011, becoming a box office hit. The main role in the film was played by Matthew McConaughey. The film also starred Marisa Tomei, who played the protagonist's ex-wife. Who will get the main roles this time is still unknown.
