Dean Norris will emerge from the dark
Dean Norris, star of Breaking Bad and Under the Dome, has joined the cast of Horror Stories to Tell in the Dark, Empire reports. The project, which is an adaptation of the children's book trilogy of the same name, is produced by Guillermo del Toro and directed by Norwegian director Andre Ovredal (The Demon Inside). Jill Bellows (“The Kiss of Judas”) and Lorraine Toussaint of Eternity went aboard with Dean.In the center of the plot will be a group of teenagers intending to uncover the secret of the terrible murders that took place in their town on their own. Earlier, Zoe Margaret Colletti, Austin Zazhur, Austin Abrams, Gabriel Rush and other young but little-known actors signed up for the main roles in the film. What roles went to the trio of newcomers is not yet reported, but it can be assumed that Norris, Toussaint and Bellows will play either the parents of the main characters, or appear in some villainous or supernatural characters. According to Andre Ovredal, each of these actors is able to bring their own note of"eerie madness"into the horror plot.  The film is scheduled to be released next year.
