Plus Size Superhero
Sony has decided to respond to the hyper-masculine macho from the DC and Marvel Cinematic Universes. As it became known to the publication Deadline, the Hollywood studio is preparing to present to the public the first superheroine with curvaceous forms.Sony executives are launching a film based on the graphic novel Faith, the main character of which is the cheerful lover of Joss Whedon's TV series, science fiction and comics, Faith Herbert. The debut of this owner of powerful telekinetic abilities in the pages of the works of the Valiant publishing house took place in 1992. Twenty-four years later, Faith earned a solo graphic novel, which made it to the top seven comics of 2016 according to the world famous publisher Barnes & Noble. The script for the superhero tape will be written by Maria Melnik, whose track record includes such popular TV series as Black Sails, The Other Side and American Gods.  Sony will be supporting the production of the film from Original Film Studios and DMG Entertainment. The film comic will be produced by Neil H. Moritz (Escape) and Toby Jaffe (Happy!).
