Valiant creates its own cinematic universe

Image It hasn't been long since Valiant Entertainment announced a massive investment by DMG Entertainment in the development of films and TV series based on the publisher's comics. Now The Hollywood Reporter reports that Valiant has signed a deal with Sony to create five films.

The first projects are the adaptation of " Bloodshot " and " Harbinger ", which are scheduled for release in 2017. Two films will be shot for each graphic novel, and the fifth will be a crossover between them called " War of the Harbingers ". All films will be produced by Dinesh Shamdasani, Neil H. Moritz and Toby Jaffe.

Bloody Shot will be directed by David Leitch and Chad Stahelski (John Wick) and written by Jeff Wadlow (Kick 2) and Eric Heisserer (A Few Hours). The creators of the comic strip behind the film are Kevin VanHook, Don Perlin and Bob Layton. According to the plot, a secret government agency returns a soldier from the dead, who later turns into a killer car with no memory.
