Review of Martin Campbell's Green Lantern

He stands guard over the cosmic law and order, shoulder to shoulder with other cops of the Universe from the planet Oa. And in the evening of the same day, accept the review.Comparisons with other supermen in masks of all colors of the rainbow and heroes with all kinds of superhuman abilities cannot be avoided. The main difference between the version of Martin Campbell and the latest versions of Superman, Batman, Iron and Spiderman made us happy. Director of the Casino Royale told a beautiful children's fairy tale, where in an understandable language (and for those who are in the tank, repeating several times without embarrassment) he explained what is good and what is bad. Moreover, he clearly demonstrated this in excellent 3D image quality. Needless to say, to get a full-fledged perception of the painting "Green Lantern" you need to look in 3D. The very case when you completely immerse yourself in the action and really flinch from fear (note for those who goes to cinemas for a picture)!  Pilot protagonist Hal Jordan ( in our humble opinion, luck Ryan Reynolds ), a kind of walking caricature of Superman. No gloomy mystery to you, universal longing in the eyes or megalomania. A first-class pilot, he loves a girl and his nephew, he is afraid of responsibility, because his father tragically died before his eyes. Throughout the film he overcomes one fear after another. Do you recognize yourself? Isn't it a plot for a good psychological film? Children's. Plus a solid addition to fiction in the form of an intergalactic police detachment, which includes Hal. Campbell has made his character a common teenager inside. Without reducing the image to a frank parody of a superhero, the director did not fall into the pathos of serious philosophizing.There are no fearless ones. You can and must overcome your fear. For this, the Creator invented such a personality quality as courage! Another episode confirming our opinion about the emphasized pedagogical orientation of the film.  Hal succeeds in this, and another hero fails - Doctor Hector Hammond, who chooses a dangerous way to control his inner complexes. (By the way, Sarsgaard created a very interesting image of a shy and withdrawn villain, for whom you frankly feel sorry). And even the guardians of the Universe are in doubt: is it true that the resources of Will, painted in emerald color, are much more powerful than the yellow Power of Fear, the embodiment of which is the main villain Parallax.  Magic Ring endows Hal with unusual abilities: you just need to turn on your fantasy and everything that you have presented materializes. And Jordan uses the arsenal of toys that have accumulated in his room, which come to the rescue at the most crucial moment. Bonuses of the green ring - leotard leather, a mask attached to the suit, the ability to move quickly, dissolve, change the structure of substances, and, of course, tie laces on the go.The Green Lantern Corps, the prototype of the intergalactic police, accepts an earthling into its ranks with caution at first.  Young Lantern Course Jordan is the leadership of the local sergeant - Kilowog (the voice of the character was given by the famous Michael Clarke Duncan , known for his role as John Coffey in the movie "The Green Mile"). Hal's mentor is also a scientist from the planet Ksudar Tomar-Re. And although his unsightly reptilian-chicken appearance with hooves instead of feet somewhat confuses everyone who sees the hero for the first time, he does not hold the wisdom of the Indian guru. The hero was voiced by actor Geoffrey Rush . In the company of scaly and pimply creatures from other planets, Earthlings Hal Jordan finally then feels at ease. Every morning, Jordan's girlfriend escorts him into space. Hal flies to his job, he is Green Lantern.
