The main character of the prequel to the famous horror movie by John Carpenter "Something" it will not be RJ Macready's brother, as previously stated, but a female scientist named Keith Lloyd. The plot will be built around a group of Norwegian polar explorers who discover an alien spacecraft under the ice of Antarctica and try to enter it. They will have to face an alien creature, in the fight with which most of the researchers will die. The heroine Kate Lloyd is described as a talented paleontologist who receives an invitation to take part in the study of the alien ship. Filming the paintings are due to start in spring 2010.
