Jerry Bruckheimer is working on the sequel to Top Shooter (Topic)

Jerry Bruckheimer is set to direct the sequel to the hit movie Top Gun, which he produced in 1986. Bruckheimer himself spoke about this in an interview with MTV News.

It is assumed that the plot of the picture will again be built around the main character Maverick, who becomes an instructor at a flight school. Bruckheimer noted that he had previously tried to create a sequel to Top Shooter, but that he had failed.

“Now we are thinking about this project again. We are discussing new ideas as the aviation community has changed a lot since the first movie came out. We have to bring them together and somehow involve Maverick, ”said the producer.

He did not specify the timing of the project.
