Jerry Bruckheimer to direct NBC series
NBC has commissioned the movieing of a pilot episode of the new series from the producer of Pirates of the Caribbean Jerry Bruckheimer. The news is reported by The Hollywood Reporter. The project will be based on the book The Secret Lives of Husbands and Wives by Josie Brown. Bruckheimer will executive produce the series. Sasha Penn will write the adapted screenplay and also join Bruckheimer in the production field. The Secret Life is a half thriller, half soap opera about a murder and the details that come up after that. Note that earlier the ABC TV company was engaged in the project.
