Gerard Butler, Sam Worthington and Matthew McConaughey will star in a military action movie called Rolling Thunder. This is reported by The Hollywood Reporter. The movie, based on real events, will focus on the operation of the American army to capture Baghdad. In April 2003, three battalions, with a total strength of just over 1,000, captured the Iraqi capital, with a population of about five million, in fierce battles in three days. The operation was named 'Lightning Strike' or Thunderclaps. The movie is said to be shot in stereoscopic format in summer 2012. The rental schedule has not yet been determined.
