Gerard Butler will wage a massacre in the desert
Scotsman Gerard Butler continues to familiarize himself with the work of American internal and external security services. The star of the Fall of Olympus trilogy will play a CIA operative in the action movie Kandahar.Butler's hero is an undercover agent Tom Harris conducting a covert operation in the desert of Afghanistan. In the midst of the mission, an unexplained information leak occurs by the CIA. Harris's identity has been revealed, and now he and a translator need to fight off the elite troops of the enemy and get to the evacuation point in Kandahar ... The director's chair of the action movie will be taken by ex-stuntman Rick Roman Waugh, who knows Butler during his work on last year's Angel Fall and the upcoming action-packed thriller Greenland.  The rights to the project belong to the Thunder Road company, which participated in the creation of "John Wick" and "The Assassin".
