Walt Disney Cancels Debt Premiere (Topic)

Walt Disney has canceled the Debt premiere on December 29, 2010. According to Variety, the movie, created by the Miramax studio, was excluded from the rental schedule without explanation.

The movie, starring Sam Worthington and Helen Mirren, is about the search for Nazi criminals, which leads Israeli intelligence Mossad.

As noted by Variety, a similar fate befell the movie Don't Be Afraid of the Dark. The premiere of the mystical thriller was previously scheduled for January 21, 2011.

Now the new owner of Miramax studio, Filmyard Holdings, will have to find a new distributor for their projects.
