Saul Zaentz, Producer of the 1996 Oscar-winning movie The English Patient as the best movie of the year, he filed a lawsuit against the companies Walt Disney and Miramax, accusing them of concealing the proceeds from the distribution due to him. This is reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

The documents submitted to the Los Angeles Supreme Court allege that the companies conspired to hide the true size of the profits and improperly determine the amount of financial contributions of the parties.

Saul Zaentz believes that his company, The Saul Zaentz Co. thus lost about $ 20 million. Note that in 2006 he already tried to sue his former partners, but then Zentsa's lawyers failed to provide convincing evidence, and the court dismissed the claim.

Recall also that in 1996 Miramax studio belonged to Walt Disney. The latter sold its subsidiary in 2010 to a group of private investors.

Worldwide box office for the English Patient exceeded $ 300 million.
