Ridley Scott's TV series set to premiere
Broadcaster A & E has announced the premiere date for the pilot episode of the miniseries Coma. This news is reported by The Hollywood Reporter. A project from the creator of Prometheus Ridley Scott and his brother Tony talk about a young woman doctor who begins to suspect that during routine operations, perfectly healthy patients fall into a coma, and then they are taken to a research center. She has to prove that all this is really happening. The series is based on the book by Robin Cook, which was movieed by Michael Crichton in 1978. Sony Pictures Television is producing a project for A & E. David W. Zucker, Martin Ehrlichman and Mikael Salomon also joined executive producers. " Coma " will be released on September 4, 2012.
