The death of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi was surprisingly accurately predicted in the humorous television program Second Chance, aired in 1987.

In the very first episode of the TV show, the popular artist Joseph Meicher appeared in the guise of the Apostle Peter , which determines which of the newly deceased to go to heaven, and which to hell.

One of the deceased was Colonel Gaddafi, who was sent to the underworld because of his connections with terrorists. He was ordered to explode every two minutes. It is noteworthy that at the beginning of the program it was indicated that the action takes place in 2011.

The TV show was shown even before the tragic events in Lockerbie. Recall that on December 1, 1988, a Pan American passenger liner was blown up in the sky over this British city. A total of 270 people died. Much later, Libya claimed responsibility for the attack, and Gaddafi agreed to pay monetary compensation to the victims' relatives.

On October 20, 2011, Colonel Gaddafi was killed by the rebels that ended his 40-year rule.
