Review of the cartoon Winnie the Bear and his friends. In the world of plush animals

It is well known that all, without exception, cartoons are divided into three categories: only for adults, for all ages and conditionally for children. The latter, as a rule, teach goodness, love, friendship, mutual assistance and other, purely positive qualities and feelings; and since they teach all this to the most perceptive spectators – children, then the responsibility lies on the shoulders of the creators. All this naturally requires not only a certain skill, but also considerable desire. Apparently, the creators of the next full-length movie adaptation of the eminent brainchild of Alan Milne had the first in abundance, and the second – at a disadvantage.

One day Winnie the Pooh woke up and, of course, wanted honey. But he was not at hand. And in the closet and in the table, and in general in the house he was not. And he had to go in search of the sweetness he loved so much, helping Eeyore find his tail on the way, and then, together with his friends, trying to rescue Christopher Robin, who had been caught by a mysterious monster named Yaskorra. I think it will not be a spoiler to say that the tail, as well as Christopher, as well as the pot of honey, were soon found, and everything returned to normal.

First of all, let me remind you that the speech is about the creation of Walt Disney Pictures, one of the pillars of animation and a titan in feature-length cartoons. That is, there is not much to say about the technical component here, everything is naturally at its best. The only complaint is the content of `` Teddy bear … '', but, fortunately, the shortcomings here can be counted on one hand.

First of all, `` Teddy bear … " managed to combine the traditionally incompatible things, namely: a relatively short timing with a stretch. The cartoon looks more like a protracted series than a separate full-length movie, which is caused, in part, by a rather unhurried change of scenes. But already here it is necessary to approach the picture more carefully, because it is designed for children, and of a rather young age, who are unlikely to be able to sit still, longer than one hour.

Next – lack of a clear message. Mutual assistance – this, of course, is very good, but I do not think that the average small child will find it easy to see her through Pooh's obsessive desire for a pot of honey, an abundance of funny and even funny gags and a sharp change in the goal of a friendly plush company. Multiply this by the fifty-minute timing, and you will see that, in general, mutual assistance is only implied here; alas, there is no well-marked and capacious phrase necessary for such a tender age on this topic. All this creates the impression of a beautiful, but meaningless spectacle, a set of colorful action, of no value, except for entertaining for a young visitor of the cinema.

And yet, despite all this, the cartoon was made quite high quality. First of all, the pure drawing pleases, even delights. No computer graphics, let alone stereoscopy. Only the old, kind and familiar set of sketched frames connected into a cinematic canvas. And all this is accompanied by a wonderful, kind soundtrack.

In addition, scenes of `` moving through the book '', walking from one page to another and playing with letters, which in the end even participate in the plot, are very appropriate and organically interwoven into the narrative. And, of course, dubbing must be mentioned; Unfortunately, the voices of the animated series that once ran here have not survived, but the new, soft and welcoming (even with a donkey) win over not only children.

Despite the slight naphthalene bloom, `` Bear Cub '' - a worthy and pleasant occasion for nostalgia, and besides, – a good excuse to take your child to the movies.
